Industry, misery, across this land Catastrophic, economic, bait Gallivanting, understanding this can’t last Catacombs and medicals await Call me names; let me explain; it’s not like that You can’t expect me to lift this weight Overblown; please just don’t... Can’t the explain the misery I take This is not my homeland; I have travelled from afar When I was just a little kitten my father told me of his battle scars He said “daughter you will grow up to take up what is mine An empire of great import; of export and supply But when he died he left me nothing; he was bitter and depressed I swore I’d never let it happen to me; I put my people to the test So don’t make me the villian in your pageant or your play I’m just here to make a killing; history; a name I savor ever moment; knowing everything will fade at the start of every birdsong, I recall my fathers shame I know where you move your little meeples; they’re all within my sight I claim this land for my people; if not by right then might! Industry, misery, across this land Catatonic, workaholic, base Never boring; you’ll tell me story some day Categorically; manifestly, great But give me a chance; take my hand maybe there is another way A new catechism; a brand new vision; a new woodland; a new day

Nobody can withstand Our face-down plots and our plans We know the secrets you got Wrap them around your neck and let drop So you rule, we don’t care How are you gonna kill what’s not there? Abandon all you hold dear You think we’re coming, we’re already here Murder Fraud Corvid Explode, ensnare Sow the seeds of fear and despair Extortion, card draw No place for trust in the invisible war Mercy, we’ve got none But let’s call it a draw on that one Burn everything you hold dear You think we’re coming, we’re already here Murder Fraud Corvid C-O-R-V-I-D Conspiracy

I crawl out from my home of a half dead tree Early morning stretch, drink up some tea, Smell smoke rising, encampment is near Birds and cats trying to take my fair share You are what you eat, excuse my odd ticks I’m prone to fall faint, but hey, it’s my shtick My teeth aren’t sharp, it’s all just a trick My tongue is the blade, the slice is the lick I walk up to them with the worst of intentions, The trash on my breath gets all the attention “Did you all hear what they’re up to today? Said that your mamma was born a stray.” Ad hominem, Throw up all the word vomit on them Straw men make marks, I’m just propping them Copy them, Mocking them, “Anyone stopping them?” Ego fed, seeing red, while their head’s dropping numb Stage is set, warriors awaken Don’t know what they’re fighting for, just know they’re mistaken That’s them, right there, they’re the giant pricks Take out your knives, sharpen up your sticks I watch on, with an evil delight Animal’s kin, join in on the fight Lend out the torch to the bird on my right He burn down the camp, the clearing’s a-light Chaos reigns, and I am its castor The flames grow higher, my heart beats faster The battle collapses, they flee for their masters And then, silence. Nothing left but a woodland disaster. Night comes softly, I take my leave Go back to my home of a half dead tree No beast, nor army, nor powerful throne Will ever rule the forest I own.

I understand the glares, and constant bickering I like to think myself an ally, Though it isn’t true I’m not the forests friend, I’m more Kanye than Kim But its not my fault I don’t care about any one but me Rambling round this forest, hated as I be No real job but piss em off, I’m not the cat’s stupid employee I must admit I’m not too concerned about my action economy Because it wont be long till I’ll be strong the forest it will be mine I wont apologize for this one way game I hate the rules, and hate you too, and hate how you complain Don’t tell me what to do remember its a game Or I’ll take your keep, take your tea, and take the game Rambling round this forest, hated as I be No real job but piss em off, I’m not the cat’s stupid employee I must admit I’m not too concerned about my action economy Because it wont be long till I’ll be strong the forest it will be mine

(VERSE 1) Come here my child and wipe your tears It’s time you understood your fears Your father plays a role you do not know yet He’s gone away into the wood We hope for days and not for good Your pain’s the same as mine, no shame to show it Why must he go, to understand You must first know, these weren’t our lands We traveled far and had to leave with haste, dear We could feel the changes on the wind Chose to leave before the wars begin But we’re missing special pieces from this place, here (CHORUS) Where’s father gone? He’s gone to delve. When will he return? Time will tell. Why must he go? Our relics call. He heeds the past as do we all. (VERSE 2) Hewn from stone or hammered gold A relic’s a memory we can hold They may be left behind but not forgotten They hold our past of who we’ve been Of what we’ve done and where we’ve seen The pieces of a past that’s now downtrodden So our bravest go where the relics lay And make their camp where battles rage They march our caravans with armor plating And when they’re done they will return For those who made it through the churn And as one we’ll raise our songs in celebrating (CHORUS 2) That's where he’s gone, he’s gone to delve. And his return? Only time will tell. Why must he go? Our relics call. He heeds the past as do we all.
